“I contacted Michelle for her design services to re-do our bathroom after realising our initial choices made 4 years ago were not standing up to the test of time. Michelle used various techniques to understand what we wanted and this boosted my confidence and clarity in the process. She has lots of experience and understands colour and style and really gets to know how you want a room to ‘feel’. After the initial consultation she returned with a thoroughly researched plan in a digital presentation, mood board and samples. Colours, images and links to all products were in the file including a 3D video of the room. This was useful to show to trades people when planning the next stage of the refurbishment. Michelle took the time to get to know me and my personal colours and likes and dislikes of style. Then she showed me some suggestions for each room. For most rooms they were spot on so we tweaked a few ideas, but a couple rooms were more problematic, the master bedroom and ensuite for example. So Michelle took the time out to visit various shops with me to select items that worked. Michelles knowledge and expertise shone throughout her work, her different price point options also assisted enormously. Once we had a plan she created a wonderful 3D mock up for each room with simple links to purchase the goods, for myself and the architect and the builder.

“Michelle did a great job in helping us with a holiday home in Whitstable during lockdown. She did the whole thing remotely due to restrictions in place and listened very carefully to what we were looking for and interpreted our ideas perfectly. She made the whole process very easy which living overseas could have been very difficult. She was able to use key pieces we already had and fit those into the design to create a result we are very happy with. She also worked closely with our carpenter in relation to wardrobes that needed to be made. “I am a regular refurbisher and usually happy to just use my own judgement. But this project was the halls, stairs and landings of a three storey house and I really couldn’t afford to get it wrong. I just wanted to have an hour with Michelle so I could run some ideas by her and have her professional opinion. We actually got through a lot in just that hour. I was impressed by just how enthusiastic she was about my project and the ideas she came up with to help me.
